My wife and I purchased our “little piece of heaven,” which consisted of 12 acres, in 1997.  In 1998, we finished building our new home and shortly thereafter, we purchased our first Dexters, 1 bull and 3 cows.  We chose our herd name after our home’s view of the timber.  Thus, “Timberview Dexters” came to be.  Since that time, we have purchased 47 additional acres and our herd has grown to include.  2 bulls and 25 cows.

Our breeding practices focus on excellent disposition and conformation.  We offer high quality horned and polled cattle in all three colors ~ black, red, and dun.  All our stock is registered with the American Dexter Cattle Association.  Our farm is located in west central Iowa, one mile south of Coon Rapids.  We welcome visitors anytime and love to talk about our “little cattle.”
